E-max - electric scooters
Electric scooters are:
- electric vehicles with zero emissions
- developed in Germany and Italy, designed by Paolo Valcic, Italy
- exclusively designed as electronic scooters
- "50cc" and "125cc" versions are available
- especially strong, patented cage frame
- high tech motor with up to 7000 W nominal power
- tried and tested automotive lithium battery system
- digital controller with e-max developed software
- no memory effect (always chargeable)
Comparison to other scooters
Comparing the e-max scooters with gas scooters is practically impossible. The much higher torque and acceleration, the nearly non-existent maintenance costs and the environmentally friendly zero emission operation puts the e-max on top of this vehicle class. The only reasonable comparison can be made with other electric scooters, but the e-max scooter stands out due to its technical characteristics.

Electric scooter technology
Motor:
E-max developed a motor exclusively for use in electric scooters. Their high-tech motors reach 7000 W nominal power and are practically maintenance free.
Electronic controls:
E-max electric scooters have a digital controller for the motor that was specifically designed for the needs of an electric scooter. E-max successfully developed software that is tailored to our customers' needs. The lithium variety features an innovative battery management system (BMS). BMS has an integrated black box which tracks and records battery, motor and operational state.
Booster:
E-max customers can count on the booster button for more power when they need it. Booster provides up to 80% more power for a given period, which means that climbing inclines steeper than 20% poses no problem.
Battery:
E-max customers can choose between: long lasting and cost effective silicon batteries with 40 Ah and 60 Ah, based on the 48-V system, or a very light lithium-ion battery with a range of up to 150 km and a charging time of less than two hours. Lithium-ion batteries can be recharged for at least 1000 full cycles, meaning that the battery lasts more than 100,000 km of driving. Both battery systems have no memory effect, so you can charge them whenever you want without problems.
Frame:
The cage frame was specially designed for e-max electric scooters. The scooter frame is extremely strong and light while offering enough space to house up to one 60 Ah silicon battery or 15 x 90 Ah lithium-ion batteries. The frame was patented by e-max and is one of the first frames for an electric vehicles with a 13 inch wheel that has single rear suspension assembly for easy access to the motor and wheel.
Brakes:
E-max electric scooters are equipped with hydraulic floating disc brakes in the front as well as the rear.
